4K Registration Process

What you need to know for the start of the 2026-2027 school year:

• August 26 - First day of school for Grades 1-12
• August 27 - First day of 4K
• August 28 - First day of Kindergarten

2026-2027 Registration Process

If you would like your child to attend one of the 4K partner site locations, you will need to complete registration at the 4K community partner site AND complete enrollment/registration with the Hudson School District.

Overview of Enrollment and Registration Steps

Step 1: If using a 4K community partner, complete their registration.

• Use this link to view the Hudson Community 4K sites.

Step 2: Complete Skyward New Student Enrollment Application with the Hudson School District (after March 10, 2026).

• Under "Your School" choose "Hudson Community 4K"
• During the enrollment application you will need to:
  • Upload proof of your current address (i.e. utility bill or lease agreement)
  • Upload current immunizations records
  • You will need to bring  a legal copy of your child's birth certificate and your driver's license to a Hudson School District school office or to the March 10 enrollment night.

After these steps are completed you will then need to complete the Annual Registration in Skyward. You will receive an email saying enrollment is complete and you need to now complete Annual Registration online in Skyward. You will receive your login information in this email notice. 

Step 3: Complete Online Annual Registration

• Login to Skyward Family Access
• Click on the "Annual Registration" button for the 2026-2027 school year and select your child's name. In this process you will select your top 3 site choices (filled on a first serve basis). Complete all steps and make sure you submit it at the end.
• You will receive a confirmation email that registration has been submitted.

Step 4: Site Confirmation

After you complete the 4K partner site registration AND Hudson School District enrollment and registration you will receive a final confirmation with the 4K site your child has been assigned to. This is the final verification that your child is registered to attend 4K. Final placement emails will be sent out April 15, May 1, and June 1, 2026; after June 1 notices will be sent on an ongoing basis.

2026-2027 4K Wrap Care

Use this link if you are interested in signing up for 2026-2027 4K Wrap Care.

• Confirmation of 4K Wrap Care will occur following final placements in 4K classes. 
• Families who choose to open enroll into the School District will not learn about 4K wrap care placement until after their open enrollment application has been approved in June.
